Conceived as a sanctuary of light and volume, Universe draws inspiration from celestial alignment and minimalist geometry. The residence is oriented precisely along the solstice axis, allowing natural sunlight to trace dramatic, shifting patterns across raw concrete and warm timber interiors throughout the day. Architectural Highlights Floating Cantilevers: Soaring structural overhangs create vast shaded terraces while offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the landscape. The Cosmic Atrium: At the heart of the residence sits a two-story glass atrium that acts as the home’s anchor, bringing natural elements into every room. Subterranean Light Wells: Custom-designed skylights channel linear rays into lower-level studio spaces, transforming structural supports into living art. Materials & Finishes Board-formed architectural concrete, oxidized steel, floor-to-ceiling ultra-clear glass, and charred Shou Sugi Ban timber accents.
